Raipur Business establishments to remain shut on March 21
Raipur, March 20: Protesting against the Income Tax department action, the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries have called a shut down on March 21 at Raipur. On March 22, they had announced a total shut down of business establishment in state level.
In a meeting a decision to this effect was taken where they alleged that Income Tax department in name of survey are harassing the business community. The community members alleged that even after having all documents and working as per rules, they are being harassed.
Recently IT department has carried out massive surveys and raids in the state and has warned of more action in future as they are going stern. CCCI chairman Amar Parwani said that businessmen are being harassed for no reason. There would be no agitation or demonstration and will be held peacefully. All will keep the shutters down.
