MeT dept warns of thunderstorm
The MeT office warned of thunderstorm and squall at isolated places in lower and mid hills of Himachal Pradesh on March 22 and 23. It also predicted rains and snow at some places in mid and higher hills up to March 23 and dry weather thereafter.
The MeT office in Shimla said there is a fresh western disturbance, as an upper-air cyclonic circulation lies over the Himalayan region. Rains or snow is likely at isolated places in mid and higher hills up to March 23 and dry weather in the region thereafter. Meanwhile, intense cold wave conditions continued in mid and higher hills.
