Two days camp for ‘Divyangs’ for railway concession
Rajnandgaon, March 05: At the initiatives of Rajnandgaon Member of Parliament Abhishek Singh, the differently abled ‘Divangs’ would not have to go to Nagpur division for making of concession certificate.
Rajnandgaon based organization, Sanskar Shradhanjali president Satish Bhattar made an appeal to the MP Abhishek Singh that the differently-abled for making of Railway concession certificate had to go to Nagpur.
The problem is faced by those hailing from Manpur, Mohla, Chowki and other remote areas.
MP Abhishek then interacted with Nagpur division Railway Manager on the issue. He then briefed on the problems being faced by the ‘Devyangs’ and placed the suggestion that if in a month, any officer twice or thrice arrives, makes the concession certificate at Rajnandgaon, then the issue can be resolved.
In principle, the DRM had accepted the suggestions and would hold minimum two sittings in a month to make the concession for the differently-abled.
DRM added that soon at Rajnandgaon Railway Station facilities for making of concession certificate would be made. The organization had extended gratitude to MP and DRM for their initiative to facilitate the differently-abled.
