ITF Futures Tennis: Singles quarter final, doubles semi-finals today
Bhilai, March 08: The singles quarter-final and doubles semi-final matches would be played on Thursday in the International Tennis Federation Futures Tennis Men’s (15000 US$) Prize Money Tournament being played at Bhilai Steel Plant Tennis Complex, Bhilai.
On the second day singles and doubles remaining matches were played.
Olympian Vishnu Vardhan (India) beat Vijayant Mallik by 6-1, 6-0, 2nd ranking Davis Cup player N Shriram Balaji beat Vasisht Cheruku by 6-2, 6-0, Prajnesh Guneshwaran beat Mohit Mayur Jaiprakash by 6-2, 6-3, Sami Reinwein (Germany) beat Alexis Canter (UK) by 6-2, 6-2, Sashi Kumar Mukund (India) beat Tejas Chakulkar by 7-5, 6-4 and Siddarth Vishwakarma beat Rishabh Agrawal by 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 to enter the quarter final round.
Men’s double quarter final matches, Vishnu Vardhan-N Shriram Balaji beat Mohit Mayoor Jaiprakash-Nicky Punacha, Sami Reinwein (Germany)-Alexis Canter (Britain) beat Tejas Chakulkar-partner by 3-6, 6-2, 11-9, Kunal Anand-Avnivat Bendra beat Sashi Kumar Mukund-Aryan Goves by 6-3, 6-1 to enter Semi-final.
