Sisodia is Indian Junior Davis Cup team manager
Raipur, March 14: Under International Tennis Federation, All India Tennis Association is organising Asia-Oceania Group Junior Davis Cup qualifying Final round at New Delhi.
Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association president Vikram Singh Sisodia was present as guest for inaugural session while from ITF Manpreet Kaur and Col Chouhan were present.
Sisodia has been appointed as Indian Junior Davis Cup manager, which is a laurel to the state. The tournament is participated by 16 team under Asia Oceania Group. India is with the pool having New Zealand, Japan and Hong Kong. India has lost its match with Hong Kong by 2-1.
On Tuesday, playing with New Zealand, India registered win by 2-1 in which India under 16 number one ranked player Sashank and Sahil Sharma won their respective singles match.
Now the Indian team will play against Japan.
Chhattisgarh Tennis Association office bearers had extended greetings to the Vikram Sisodia for his appointment and wished that Indian junior team wins the event to qualify.
