Haryana FM announces DA hike by 2%

Haryana Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu today announced enhancement in the rate of Dearness Allowance for pensioners and family pensioners of the State Government by two per cent with effect from 1st July, 2016.

The Finance Minister said that the rate of Dearness Allowance had been enhanced on the pattern of Central Government as per the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission. He said that the hike would entail additional financial liability of about 10.84 crore rupees per month on the state exchequer.
