North Korea tests new high-performance Rocket engine

The North Korean military has tested a new high-performance rocket engine. The state media reported that the country’s leader Kim Jong Un declared the test a new birth for Pyongyang’s rocket industry. He said, the engine would help North Korea achieve world-class satellite launch capability.
The development comes as US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is visiting China – Pyongyang’s main ally. He held talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing yesterday, with both countries agreeing to jointly address the threats posed by North Korea’s provocative nuclear and missile programmes. In South Korea on Friday, Tillerson had said, a US military response would be on the table if Pyongyang threatened South Korea or US forces.
