Railways Minister to visit Bhubaneswar
Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu will visit Bhubaneswar today and announce various infrastructure-related projects and inaugurate passenger amenities works.
Among the announcements of various projects and amenities, flagging off of the extension of the Khurda Road-Rajsunakhala-Khurda Road passenger up to Bolagarh Road and the Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Rajyarani Express up to Gunupur are included.
Prabhu would also lay foundation-stone for a Khurda Road bypass line, a 4th line between Rourkela and Bondamunda, a Multi Disciplinary Training Centre at Jagatpur in Cuttack and maintenance facilities for MEMU Units at Khurda Road.
Besides, Prabhu would inaugurate a double line between Handapa and Saragipali stations in the Angul-Sambalpur doubling project through video conferencing from Bhubaneswar. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Ministers Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan would also grace the occasion.
