Five ultras held in Bijapur
Raipur, March 20
A joint squad of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police arrested five ultras from separate places in insurgency-hit Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.
On March 17, the joint squad of security personnel launched an extensive search operation in areas falling under Mirtur police station, police said, adding that during the course of search, troopers have managed to nab four ultras in Mirtur. http://bit.ly/Clipper28App
Security personnel have carried out operation in restive forest patches of Bechapal, Hurrepal, Entapal, Gahnar, Timonar, Timodi and Madpal area, added police.
According to police, the arrested ultras have been identified as Bhima Telam (25), Ayatu Banjam alias Bodda (30), Sukman Vanjam (25) and Baman Mandavi (25). The arrested rebels were active in the region as lower rank cadres. The arrested naxals were involved in various crimes including murder attempt, brawl, offence under arms act and other.

In another case, security personnel have arrested an insurgent Uika Badru (50) from limits of Basaguda police station following precise tip-off.
