Encounter between Lucknow ATS & alleged terrorist

In Uttar Pradesh, an encounter between anti-terrorist squad of state police and a terrorist is underway at a Thakurganj locality under Kakori police station in Lucknow. ADG police law and order Daljeet Chaudhary has said that alleged terrorist has taken shelter in a house and police have surrounded the house.

He said adequate police force is deployed at the spot and exchange of fire is also taking place. He said police has appealed him to surrender but he has not responded so far. He said one alleged terrorist has been arrested from Kanpur and investigation is underway. A high alert has been sounded across the state.
