2 tomatoes ( cut them according to you liking chunky/ slightly pureed/ cut into small pieces)
1/2 onion, finely diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 lime, juiced
salt to taste
sliced green chiles, to taste
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro.
Flour Tortilla Chips :

vegetable oil for frying
8 (10 inch) flour Roti’s, each cut into 8 triangles


Place the tomatoes, onion, garlic, lime juice, salt, green chiles, and cilantro in a blender. Blend on low to desired consistency.

For Tortilla Chips :

Pour 1/4 to 1/2 inch oil in a heavy 10-inch skillet; bring oil to medium-high heat, about 8 minutes.
Working in batches, gently arrange tortillas in the hot oil using a slotted spoon; cook, frequently turning tortillas with the slotted spoon, until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove chips with slotted spoon and place a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
