The Maharashtra government has approved the creation of 22 positions in the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra to help with the development of the future NAINA mega-city near the Navi Mumbai airport.
NAINA is an acronym for Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area, and it is being developed around the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) in the Raigad district of Mumbai, India’s financial centre.
The Maharashtra government has approved CIDCO’s proposal for 22 tax officers and land survey officers for the NAINA project.
As a result, CIDCO will have its own committed human resources to carry out the numerous tasks of the NAINA project and aid its timely completion.
“The NAINA project, which is being implemented by CIDCO, is an ambitious project in the state’s urban planning sector.” With this project, an ultra-modern metropolis will be built, which will contribute significantly to the state’s development.
As a result, in order to expedite the revenue activities associated with the NAINA project, and in response to CIDCO’s request, the government has decided to create 22 new positions for this project,” stated Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, CIDCO.
“We are confident that the Maharashtra government’s decision will hasten the development of NAINA,” he added.
The CIDCO is constructing NAINA, a well-planned city with cutting-edge services, in a 371-square-kilometer area surrounding the Navi Mumbai International Airport.
The NAINA project is being carried out through twelve Town Planning Schemes.
To implement these plans, revenue and land survey officers/staff are needed to maintain land records up to date by revising entitlements, preparing property cards, measuring land, and creating new maps.
As a result, approval was obtained for 22 regular posts at the high-level secretary committee meeting on December 13, 2022. Deputy Collector, Tehsildar, Circle Officer, Talathi, District Superintendent Land Survey, Deputy Superintendent Land Survey, Bench Clerk, Nimtadar, and surveyor are among the positions available.
