PM Modi meets his former school teacher in Gujarat, Navsari district on Friday, where he lay the foundation stone for numerous development projects worth Rs.3,050 crores.

PM Modi’s emotional reunion with his former school teacher, Jagdeesh Bhai Naik, quickly became a social media sensation. The Prime Minister is seen greeting his former instructor with folded hands and the latter attempting to hug him in the photo. PM Narendra Modi was taught by Naik, who was a school teacher in Vadnagar, Gujarat. He currently resides in Gujarat’s Vyara township.

“Narendra, as one of my students, was always ready to disseminate light all over the world,” Naik remarked of PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier in the day inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a number of development projects in Gujarat totaling Rs.3,050 crores.

In Navsari, Prime Minister Modi took part in the ‘Gujarat Gaurav Abhiyan’ According to the Prime Minister’s Office, these projects would assist improve the region’s water supply while also increasing connection and making life easier. In Navsari, he also opened the AM Naik Healthcare Complex and the Nirali Multi Specialty Hospital.

The Prime Minister will also dedicate the Virpur Vyara substation, which was built at a cost of over Rs.85 crores to serve the Tapi district’s residents. In the Valsad district, a sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 14 MLD and a cost of Rs.20 crore will be opened to help with wastewater treatment.
