In the era of social media, where information spreads like wildfire, a Sikh guy is purportedly saying in a now-viral video published by X user on February 17 that PM Modi may be killed in the next few years. The video has had over 6 lakh views and 15,000 likes.
Although it is unclear if the guy in the video is a farmer or not, it is clear that they have a Sikh appearance. The man reportedly threatens to kill Prime Minister Modi in an extremely forceful manner while chatting to a local reporter. The Sikh man can be heard heckling the woman in the video and telling her, “You will receive the news that PM Modi will be killed in coming 2-3 years.” He reacts by saying that is definitely a significant threat when the reporter adds that’s huge news.
The veracity of the video and the speaker’s name remain unconfirmed. During the Farmers’ Union’s nationwide ‘Delhi Chalo’ March, this unidentified individual is allegedly making remarks.
Though Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was also slain by her Sikh bodyguard, this menace cannot be dismissed. In the past, Sikh bodyguards killed former Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi as payback for Operation Blue Star, a military operation in which Gandhi had ordered the removal of Sikh militants from the Golden Temple in Amritsar. She was assassinated because the action caused severe casualties and infuriated a lot of Sikhs.
At the start of its fifth day, the ‘Delhi Chalo’ March protest, which began on February 13, has been marked by chaotic circumstances. It is anticipated that the Farmers Union and the administration would hold discussions today. This is regarded as the fourth round of negotiations between the government and farmers.
