A terrifying death threat has been issued against Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan. At Mumbai’s Bandra Bandstand promenade, an unsigned note addressed to the Bollywood actor and seasoned screenplay writer was discovered.
“Tumhara Moosewala kar denge (you shall meet Moose Wala’s fate)” stated the warning.
Salim Khan’s guards discovered the note at a site where the 86-year-old veteran regularly relaxes after his morning walk, prompting police to file a FIR.
Sidhu Moosewala, a Punjabi musician and Congress activist, was shot and killed last week in Mansa, Punjab, allegedly by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
When the blackbuck poaching case was being handled in court in 2018, the same gang threatened Salman and threatened to kill him in Jodhpur.
After the murder of Moosewala, Lawrence, who had been held in Delhi’s Tihar Jail after being prosecuted under the Arms Act, was taken into police custody.
Following the latest threat, Mumbai police will beef up security around Salman and his family’s Bandra residence, Galaxy Apartments.
