Telangana CM KCR met NCP Sharad Pawar in Mumbai, Following the discussion, the two leaders spoke at a joint press conference about bringing more like-minded Opposition parties into the fold. KCR also spoke on ushering in a “new vision” and agenda for India’s governance.
“This country requires a fresh agenda and a new vision to be properly administered. Sharad Pawar Ji and I talked about it. He is a seasoned leader who has given me his blessing and with whom I will collaborate. There will be a conference with other like-minded parties “In Mumbai, Telangana CM KCR told reporters.
Speaking to reporters, NCP chief Pawar shared that the issues pertaining to development, as well as unemployment, were on the agenda of talks. “Talks happened on the agenda of development. A detailed discussion took place on unemployment,” said Pawar.
KCR meets Uddhav Thackeray
CM KCR also met with his Maharashtra counterpart, Uddhav Thackeray, earlier today, where he emphasised the need for a “major change” in the country. The TRS leader stated that a ‘inclusive India’ was required, and committed to collaborate with Shivaji’s inspiration.
KCR is set to meet with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee very soon. In the run-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, the TMC supremo is also planning to form a similar power alliance without the Congress. Next month, she will meet with Chief Ministers of states that are not headed by the BJP.
