Nandini Gupta of Kota, Rajasthan, was named Femina Miss India 2023 during a gala event in Imphal, Manipur. The prized title was conferred upon the 19-year-old during the grand finale ceremony on April 15.
Meanwhile, Delhi’s Shreya Poonja was named first runner-up in the Femina Miss India 2023 pageant, and Manipur’s Thounaojam Strela Luwang was named second runner-up.
The Femina Miss India 2023 pageant featured performances by previous winners Sini Shetty, Rubal Shekhawat, Shinata Chauhan, Manasa Varanasi, Manika Sheokand, Manya Singh, Suman Rao, and Shivani Jadhav.
Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday from Bollywood also performed at the 59th edition of the event, which was hosted by Maniesh Paul and Bhumi Pedneker.
The 30-state champions were clothed in a collection by Namrata Joshipura for Trends, Rocky Star, and Robert Naorem exhibiting traditional clothes in numerous rounds of fashion sequences.
The winners were chosen by a jury that included boxing legend Laishram Sarita Devi, renowned choreographer Terence Lewis, film director and writer Harshavardhan Kulkarni, and fashion designers Rocky Star and Joshipura.
Soibam Kanchan, Urmila Shagolsem, Maria Chanu Pangambam, and Angobi Chanu Loukrakpam, all former Manipur state winners, were also present at the occasion.
