Next month, Google will introduce the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro in India. Since these will be Google’s first flagship phones in the nation in nearly four years, the company must set a fair price for them.
A recent report asserts that there won’t be any pricing changes from the Pixel 6 series as Google gets ready to introduce its new Pixel 7 smartphone line.
The next Pixel 7 series will be available on Flipkart in India, Google has previously stated.
The prices for the next devices—$599 for the Pixel 7 and $899 for the Pixel 7 Pro—were announced by Artem Russakovskii, the founder of Android Police, in a tweet.
“Here are the US prices for the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, as reported by a source I can completely trust. The Pixel 7, codenamed Panther, retails for $599 and comes in the colours Snow, Obsidian, and Lemongrass “In a tweet, he stated.
Pixel 7 Pro, code-named Cheetah, will cost $899 and be offered in the colours Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow, he continued.
The good news for Pixel fans is that the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro were already priced quite competitively, whereas the iPhone 14 and Samsung Galaxy S22 both start at $799.
The Pixel 7 is expected to sport a 6.3-inch display, which is a little smaller than the 6.4-inch screen found on the Pixel 6.
The series, which is scheduled to debut on October 6, will be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset. The original Tensor’s CPU will be used by the new chipset.
The tech giant initially hinted about the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro during I/O in May, and it’s expected to be released together with the Pixel Watch next month.
